Formerly, Free City of Gdańsk. The city with a rich and sometimes sad history. Once a multinational and multireligious city, now returns to its old character. Reborn after being destroyed during the war, attracting more and more tourists and visitors every year. The city, which spoils its residents and guests with refreshing, Baltic Sea air. City of famous people such as Johannes Hevelius, Gabriel Fahrenheit, Günther Grass, Arthur Schopenhauer and Lech Walesa.

Gdańsk is attractive for tourists because of the numerous historical and cultural sites, as well as many natural resources, which are located not only in Gdansk, but also in neighbouring towns and cities. Together with Sopot and Gdynia creates the Tri-City agglomeration, which is worth a visiting for  St. Mary’s Church in Gdansk, the pier in Sopot and Kosciuszko square in Gdynia. Certainly worth your attention is the beautiful castle in Malbork, or, if you would like to relax, forests and lakes of Kashubia region.
