When arriving to Gdańsk by a plane you will get to Lech Walesa Airport.

From that place you have got several ways to reach our hostel:

Public transport

Public transport – tickets are available from the driver of the bus. You need to take a bus no. 210 (timetable). Get on the bus to “Gościnna” direction. Get off at 14th stop called “Dworzec Główny”.

 

Now we can continue the journey in two ways:

A. Tram - to get on the tram go to the tunnel and turn to the right. Take your first exit on the right. Make sure it is correct platform – trams go to “Stogi” direction. Take the tram no. 3 (timetable) or 8 (timetable). Ride by a tram takes 7 minutes. Get off at 6th stop called ”Brama Żuławska”. Go the tunnel and turn left. When you walk out of the tunnel you will see “Długie Ogrody” street on your right. Go across the street. Then you will see yellow block of flats and closed pharmacy. The entrance to the hostel is from the backyard behind the pharmacy.

 

B. Walk - NOTE get off the bus one stop further at “Brama Wyżynna” stop. Estimated time of walk is 20 minutes. It will be easier if you will check it on the map (click) first. Go through the tunnel to the other side of the street. Walk out of  the tunnel and go straight all the time. Keep going straight, pass The Upland Gate and The Torture House, go throught  The Golden Gate and along Długa Street. Go through the Green Gate and two bridges… Pass the two towers - The Milk Can Towers… Keep walking for about 7 minutes more until you will see “Żuławska” gate. On the left side there will be yellow block of flats and closed pharmacy. The entrance to the hostel is from the backyard behind the pharmacy.

Airport Bus

Airportbus - it`s fast, direct and comfortable bus from the airport to the center of Gdansk (final stop at The Mercury Hotel – Jana Heweliusza Street). Due to the fact that there is no stops along the way it is much faster than the public bus and much cheaper than a taxi. Book your ticket with us here.

Taxi

The cost of the taxi from the airport to our hostel is about 55 PLN - at night and festal days the price may be higher.

When arriving to Gdańsk by train you will get to the Main Train Station – “Dworzec Główny”.

In a front of the train station you will find a taxi rank. The price for a ride to our hostel is estimated for about 20 PLN - at night and festal days the price may be higher.

Tram

To get on the tram,  go into the tunnel and then make sure that it is the correct platform – trams need to go in direction “Stogi”. Take the tram no. 3 (timetable) or 8 (timetable). The ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at 6th stop called ”Brama Żuławska”. Go into the tunnel and then turn left. When you walk out of the tunnel you will see “Długie Ogrody” street on your right. Go across the street. Then you will see a tall, yellow apartment building and a closed pharmacy. The entrance to the hostel is from the backyard, behind the pharmacy.

On foot

It will be easier if you will check it on the map (click) first. Estimated time of walk is 25 minutes. First of all you need to get to “Długa” Street  which is the main street in the Old Town. Then turn to the left and keep going straight. Go through the Green Gate and two bridges… Pass the two towers - The Milk Can Towers… Keep walking for about 7 minutes more until you will see “Żuławska” gate. On the left side there will be yellow block of flats and closed pharmacy. The entrance to the hostel is from the backyard behind the pharmacy.

When arriving to Gdańsk by bus you will get to the PKS station on “3 maja” Street.

On foot

Starting from the bus station  you will be greeted by the entrance to the tunnel. You have to go to the other end of it. First, you need to get to The Long Street, which is the main street in the Old Town. Then go towards the Green Gate. You just need to go straight ahead all the time. You will go across two bridge. You will pass two towers - The Milk Jars. From here, it is about 7 minutes to our hostel. At the end of a street with parking spaces in the middle of it, you will find The Żuławska Gate. To the left of it, there will be a tall, yellow apartment building and a closed pharmacy. The entrance to the hostel is from the backyard, behind the pharmacy.
